Heads above clouds, 2024
Heads above clouds was an interactive exhibition project at CO³. Various artists presented their works in changing constellations, known as settings. On three consecutive Saturdays, full-day workshops were held. A variety of materials and tools were made available to encourage visitors to engage in their own creative expression and artistic actions.
Setting #1: with Marta Colombo
Setting #2: with Sebastian Bartel
Setting #3: with Christian Schreckenberger
All visitors were invited to connect with each other, exchange ideas, and engage in collaborative artistic creation. The space became a meeting point for people from diverse backgrounds. In addition to conversations, the shared artistic process enabled a different kind of exchange—one of mutual understanding and cooperation.
Setting #1 : Workshop with Marta Colombo
Marta Colombo is deeply engaged with scenographic strategies—the staging of materials, media, and objects in space. For the project Heads above clouds, she developed wire sculptures together with the visitors, using wire wrapped in green foam. Through bending, weaving, wrapping, and knotting, flexible yet stable constructions were created, some of which became part of a large-scale, suspended installation. Individual elements from this installation were preserved and integrated into the second setting of the exhibition.
