Marta Colombo is taking pictures of architecture elements, which the artist displays in the exhibition room in an installation. Photographs of high-rise buildings and industrial monuments are closely connected by threads and painted color surfaces as a collage(-installation) with the exhibition space. The artist questions with her work the perception of rooms and she constructs with external materials new sculptural arrangements, which seem to dissolve the (exhibition) space.
Colombo is developing the installation from the photo motives of Duesseldorf, connecting the forms to the space of the Antichambre for a site-specific intervention. She is taking up elements, like a shadow grap and a warning tape to a new playful composition.
